More canoe play...

This is from Kat and Marley's visit for Handmade Nation...(I'm linking to Kat's post, as it's likely I'll never get my post on that done... :) )

The girls are playing on a slack line (don't worry, they don't walk on top of it...) Bret improvised with our hammock stand...we got rid of our (rotten) hammock when we moved, but kept the nifty metal stand...

And a few photos of the under-represented 2nd child.

OMG: Had not heard of Handmade Nation nor of the Museum of Contemporary Craft which obviously I have to see somehow in the very near future.

Also love your pic of slacklining. Murray just set up a zip-line for moving firewood from our high bench, with the thought to making it a real one for humans in the future. We have a Zipline (called AdrenaLine) adventure place out near us (which I have on my list as something to do this summer-- kids over 5 welcome!) and another friend's hubby has set up real zip-lines, so we will hopefully get something going in the year(s?) to come. Slacklining has another appeal though. I like the idea of using webbing, and of course, all you need are trees, and we have plenty of those. My brothers gave Fenna (and by extension, Hamish) some rock-climbing hand-holds which we have to set up somewhere (on some indoor or outdoor wall)... agh.. the fun these kids have. And the fun we have setting it all up for them! Hey, maybe we could set up some slacklining action outside at RUFun?
